Most of the countries across the globe are fully aware that Al Ahwaz, was an independent state for thousands of years before its occupation by the Persian Pahlavi Regime in 1925. Prior to its annexation the region was attacked and occupied temporarily by Persian and a few foreign countries, however, it had restored its independence.
After the discovery of Oil the region was targeted by the European countries, thus they attempted to keep the region under their political, economic and military control. They actually created a negative equation for the Arabian Gulf and a positive equation in their favour.
The most important part of this equation was the presence of Sheikh Khazaal Al Kaabi the legitimate ruler of Al Ahwaz, and his government which was seeking to enter into international politics. This means that Ahwaz could form a political and economic block in the Arabian Gulf, which was considered a red line for some of the European countries.
At that time a new state in the name of Iran, was formed and accordingly the conspiracy was planned to annex the independent Al Ahwaz to the Iranian map. Therefore, Sheikh Khazaal Al Kaabi, the legitimate ruler of Al Ahwaz (Arabistan), was betrayed and the green light was given to Reza Shah, who was an uneducated person to invade Al Ahwaz which was against the international norms.
All the conspiracies were done only to prevent the formation of an Arabian block that could be part of the international equation. Although, the occupier was unable to change the identity of the Ahwazi people who resisted with their moral strength and tried to preserve their Arabian identity.
In our meetings with some international bodies, we demanded that Al Ahwaz should be placed on the political map and given its legal and historical right. These countries are fully aware that Al Ahwaz was part of the guarded Kingdoms and had to be protected from any foreign invasions, however, it was attacked and occupied. Thus, Ahwazi people have been deprived of all their civil and political rights.
Therefore, we call on the United Nations and the countries that caused the occupation of Al Ahwaz to stand by the Ahwazi people to recover our land. We believe that the Iranian regime will fall during the next stage and that the international community in general and European countries in particular, must change its political directions towards the Ahwazi people who own the land and the wealth.
I propose to the United Nations to allocate a security, political and economic committee to follow up on our demands as Ahwazis to create a political climate that Guarantees the rights of the Ahwazi people, as well as the rights of the nations in the so-called political geography of Iran.
